This season's tour will focus on some of the country estates and larger village homes of some of Pittsford's most prominent citizens that also played an important role in the evolution of Pittsford. Access to the Lomb House is included in this tour. Members free, non-members $10.

About the event
This season's tour will focus on some of the country estates and larger village homes that were home to some of Pittsford's most prominent citizens and also played an important role in the evolution of Pittsford.
The tour will include the Lomb House built for Henry Lomb, one of the founders of Bausch & Lomb. This unique Craftsman Style house, now owned by the Pittsford Central School District, will be opened for us and we will have access to the unique crow's nest which provides views of the surrounding area.
We will look at the main house and other remaining buildings from the Hylgarth estate and then walk along the former estate entrance drive (Stonegate Lane) to learn about the grander homes on South Main Street and Monroe Avenue. The walking group will return to Sutherland High School to conclude the tour.
